From 1970 until 1981, two separate categories were created, HUMOR and STORY. Right: WILL EISNER, who died in January, 2005, was one of the most-honored cartoonists in NCS history. He won six COMIC BOOK Division awards, the MILTON CANIFF LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT Award, and the 1998 REUBEN Award.
